Multi-User Environment - Setting up SOLR in Linux

Postby timeagle » Mon Nov 07, 2016 5:58 pm

Looking at the SOLR installation program, it is all geared towards windows. Has anyone here used a linux server for the SOLR instance? I'm usings RHEL 7.2 and want to make sure it's configured properly.

Have you seen this? -> https://bitnami.com/stack/solr

Bear in mind I haven't used Bitnami's SOLR, but I've used several of their plug-ins (Moodle, Mediawiki, Drupal, etc.) with good results. Not knowing how far you are along in the process, this might not be of any interest, but I thought I'd pass it along anyway.
